The Game Started sometime in July 2002, as a very simple game. You got 1 Blood Point per person you ‘tricked’ into joining up. RavenBlack never expected it to grow the way it did, yet as time went on the players of RavenBlack City - The Dark Alleyways, began to show just how much it meant to him.

RavenBlack begins to change those around him into vampires. With the abundance of blood and room to claim dominion, the city’s vampiric population begins to grow rapidly, climbing into the thousands within the first few months.

November 6th, 2002; RavenBlack-Blood opens as the first great hall.

Capadocious arrives in the city.

December
Archangel is sired by nyarlathotep.

The city Grows *RavenBlack turns the link hitting game into a browser based MMORPG being 50X50 then to 100X100*

The Travellers - First RavenBlack clan is formed by Mooncalf for protection of it’s own. Jadinia is left in charge of the group while Mooncalf goes in search of lost kindred

Fortresses began to form *8 vampires brought together, to protect each other and fill a square. This was before Scrolls of Turning*

Capadocious declares war on The Travellers, dispersing the group almost single handily. Capadocious is quickly joined by Heimdag and Battilion *former Traveller*. The new group call themselves Clan Capadocious.

Mooncalf returns and forms the militant Blackhaven; a clan dedicated to destroying the Capadocian threat within the city. Mooncalf is joined by vampires such as Witchyrune, Road Whych, Pandemona and Black Wolf.

Clan de Beljeferon is founded and ran by their leader Beljeferon.

January 29th, 2003; The Sun Clan is founded by The Sun.

The start of The Clone Wars. In order to protect buildings and take territory, clans all over the city began raising clones; walking corpses under the control of the vampire who raised them. While Capadocious used clones to flush out Blackhaveners and to trap humans, Blackhaven used them to protect their own.

The guilds arrive, offering the powers of Stamina, Shadows, Thievery and Locate.

JazabellMoonsHo and Mooncalf develop the power of Wall-jumping, which is now known as Surprise. In doing so, they were able to take the blood of Capadocious and his Queen Battilion. *It was a bug in the programming which allowed one to enter a square even when it was full*

House of VcorinneV *now called Messidor Clan* is founded

February
February 15th, 2003; Surprise

RavenBlack puts a stop to the clone wars by wiping out all the zombie minions. It was rumored that the Vampire God saw the zombies as an abomination.

Scrolls of Turning and Holy Waters are invented and introduced into The City's black markets, these shops move every 24 hours.. Subsequent Shops spring up that need to shift their merchandise every day to prevent being caught.

With these new weapons, Clan Capadocious attacks Blackhaven fortresses. Blackhaven retaliates, seriously wounding Battilion. A cease-fire is issued shortly after.

The Freedom Trade Alliance is founded. In the purpose of sharing information regarding vampiric matters.

BloodSpawn joins Clan Capadocious.

Cerridwen is sired by Dirktou.

AstaTheBroken and der Tote meet for the first time, becoming the city's first couple. *Becoming the city's first OOC couple at the same time*

The High Council of RavenBlack City is formed by Heimdag, Witchyrune is elected as the chair-person.

Blackhaven and Capadocious sign a cease-fire.

Clan of the Rose is founded

Pandemona opens Notte Scura, the first club for exclusive VIP vampires.

March
The Vampire News Network comes under the ownership of Charish, who turns it into a regular newspaper, highlighting the events in the city normally on a daily basis.

Mooncalf steps down as leader of Blackhaven, many of his members leaving to join Clan Capadocious.

Capadocious splits his clan up into 4 houses with 4 leaders. Heimdag's House of Heimdag, Morganafq leading the Mists, Sodakk leading the House of Sodakk, BloodSpawn leading the Church of Blood, and Euphoric Lust and emily lang leading the Draconian Corps.

The Assassin’s Guild is formed and Capadocious’ queen Battilion is zeroed by Assassin Guild members Dirktou and Will der Bauer.

The truce between Blackhaven and Clan Capadocious ends with a Blackhaven assault. Unicorn Dream and BloodSpawn are both zeroed, Capadocious and the new leader of Blackhaven, Witchyrune are both severely harmed. The following day The Battle of Gloom commences. After a long and intense battle, Mooncalf is killed and laid to rest at Gloom and 30th.

Capadocians Lucius and ophelia are wed.

creperum, daughter of Beljeferon, is wed to Andronicus.

Blackhaven's second in command, Witchyrune, is also zeroed.

Capadocian Training Camp founded for the purpose of weeding out spies and tightening security. Pandemona is left in charge.

The Ferrymen form under Lucius and become the Capadocian information house.

Torpor takes hold *The 2 week resting rule is decided in RBB. The winning choice was to make a non-compulsory, honour-bound resting rule of a 2 week duration after a vampire is zeroed*

Clan Savage and it's leader, Julian, is single-handedly wiped out by Bloodspawn.

Necromancers arise in RavenBlack City.

A city-wide assault on Clan Capadocious begins, the massive rally of warriors numbering over 80 in total.

The Empire is formed, lead by Andronicus and his wife, creperum. The Empire was originally designed to act as a home for all neutral vampires.

The first season of Clan Wars comes to an end, Clan Savat is proclaimed winner, and Motorola of Blackhaven is proclaimed champion of champions.

April
The Graveyard is built *It was made in honor of the player of Pazuzu who had died in real life*

Bad Name Campaign is formed, originally designed to eliminate all vampires with stupid, or unoriginal names.

Batillion forms The Amazon Blood Clan, a clan for women only.

Clan of The Phoenix is formed.

The Heaven's Gate retreat is built *Ravenblack-Blood Awakening aka RBA*

Capadocious declares he wishes to be crowned Prince of The City
The Church of Blood declares war on The Empire, and the very same day The Empire disbanded.

Capadocious is voted and proclaimed Prince of the city by Vampires of RavenBlack-Blood.

The Church of Blood begins planning an assault on RavenBlack himself. Morganafq is given the boot for her objections to the Church of Blood’s plans. Many from her house follow.

May
May 1st, 2003; Immolator’s guilds begins to teach suction to Vampires, which allows those with the power to drain twice as much blood from a victim as they usually would.

The Bloodbar is created by vampire iLLNiNo.

Capadocious zeroes der Tote for being the companion of AstaTheBroken

The Capadocious Clan is disbanded. Each of the clan houses are instructed to their separate ways. The reason is that Capadocious decides he can better lead The City as Prince if he is not partial to clan alignment.

The vampires Lucius, Heimdag and Lord Livingston *all former leaders at Clan Capadocious* go on to form Amici Noctis.

The Church of Blood, led by Bloodspawn, begin attacks on RavenBlack himself, proclaiming him "the false god".

Although proclaimed Queen of the City by The Church of Blood, Xeneri refuses to accept this title and instead begins to attempt to aid her sire, RavenBlack in non-violent means.

Clan Savat disbands

The vampiric populous reject the notion of a City Prince, and Capadocious is left with only a self-imposed title, rather than one backed by democratic process.

The Travellers Guild arrives in The City, offering to teach vampires the power of Celerity. This new power allows vampires to move more quickly than should be humanly possible.

RavenBlack sympathizers rush to the defence of the city's maker, attacking The Church of Blood. The list of RavenBlack sympathizers includes UnicornDream, Shadowbat, CHASS, and fallenangel

2003 - June-Decemeber

June
The city begins to reject the idea of a prince and Capadocious quickly loses support.

creperum takes control of The Empire.

July
The first vampire slave auction is held at RBB.

The Dynasty is formed, led by none other than Prince Capadocious.

Dirktou betrays Pandemona and steals her clan from her. The majority of Clan Ellende is taken and brought to join a newly formed clan known as The Dynasty.

Capadocious strengthens his new regime with the *now legendary* phrase "join or die". Many clans do just that, as if they do not join to the banner of The Dynasty, they are destroyed. Many of the old Clan Capadocious members return to the powerful leader and also join The Dynasty.

Blackhaven and The Ferrymen declare war on each other.

Capadocious lays down the challenge to the clans within the hall of RBB: if he is not wanted as Prince of the City, who then shall have the title in his place? A poll is opened, and eventually won by Capadocious, who remains the dubiously titled "Prince of The City".

Mooncalf returns, resurrected from what was thought to be death by his arch enemy Capadocious. Cap visits the grave of Mooncalf at Gloom and 30th and pours his blood on the bones of his nemesis. It is said that an agreement was made between Capadocious and the shade of Mooncalf, that if Cap returned him to live, Moon would join The Dynasty. Capadocious is promised his own clan within The Dynasty, and in return offers an inventive new way of enforcing the "join or die" regime. The idea: to attack and hound the friends and family of non-members until they agree to join The Dynasty.

Archangel creates a City Watch (Night Watch) to prevent and punish attacks carried out in the cities graveyard.

Capadocious asks his political attackers who they will have as prince, if not him. A poll is opened once more at the RBB and Capadocious is voted prince, again.

The Dynasty attacks The Empire and cripples it heavily.

August
The Dynasty zeroes road_wytch.

The Temple of Golconda, a peaceful establishment of enlightened vampires, is built by Shadowbat.

Lucius leads The Ferrymen back to the rulership of Capadocious, in The Dynasty clan.

The Peacekeepers Mission is created in the city, offering the revolutionary power of Neutrality. This new power stops violence against and from the vampire in question.

Lucius begins his now-legendary series of "Lucius' Little Truths".

Confusion hit Capadocious' circle of clans, The Dynasty. There is a sudden revolt, and Mooncalf himself seems to be used as an excuse for the betrayal. It is claimed that Mooncalf's very presence is unwanted in the clan, as none trust the manipulative creature. It turns out that they were right not to, as Mooncalf joined The Dynasty was the intention of getting revenge on Capadocious. Cap's most trusted generals leave his clan, including Dirktou, Vampire B and Lucius. To form The Shadow Court!

Clan Archangel is formed.

September
RavenBlack changes the title *10th Blood Rank* from Count to Ancient.

Mooncalf learns of how to gain Black Blood, shortly after many others learn of how to gain Black Blood. RavenBlack does nothing to stop the use of Black Blood. *This is using Quizilla as a means of gaining blood*

Clan Mooncalf is founded, with the claim of being "the most fun clan in the entire city".

The Raven Times is born, created by Mooncalf with the intention of "bringing you the lighter side of the dark alleyway". Originally intended to be a joke newspaper, it is often referred to as a tabloid, offering cartoons, nude models, stories, and the usual celebrity rumours. The RT also includes the very unusual publication "Fly on Cap's Wall", a parody of stories aimed at Capadocious and his empire.

The Vampire Companions organisation is formed by Lady Nikko.
The great hall *The Coven* RVRC is formed by Dirktou, attracting many new and old vampries.

The Forge is formed

October
Cerridwen joins Capadocious as princess of his clan. She leaves shortly after to form the Towers of Blood.

Miranda Dawn enters the city

November
House of Heorot formed, led by AQelDroma

November 7th, 2003; Hall of Rogues is formed

First Vampiric Congress of RavenBlack City formed in response to the election of a Prince.

January 1st, 2004; Tejas Dragon enters the city

The Supreme Court of RavenBlack City is created for settling matters which cannot be settled amongst individuals.

The Shadow Court declares war The Tower of Blood. Cerridwen and Adreadia are zeroed shortly after.

Capadocious is finally zeroed by the collective force of the city, his clan are also decimated. The Dynasty comes to an end.

Mooncalf steps down as leader of Clan Mooncalf, leaving the leadership to Death Reaper. Death Reaper, however, shortly steps down in favor of RavenesQue being the leader of the clan. Who remains the clan "Clan of the Dark Raven".

Clan Reyrkatrill is formed by Rykoth.

The Sun Clan forms under the leadership of The Sun.

February
The Travellers Guild starts teaching Telepathy to vampires who are willing to pay for it.

Mooncalf invents the honorable dueling game: Scroll at Ten Paces

Feb. 3rd; Lord Livingston and Gothic-Rose, Lord and Lady of The Scions of Thanatos, fall into Eternal Shadows together at Oppression and 77th, attracting vampires from around the City to bid their farewells.

April
The Inner Circle is formed under the leadership of What The, Hegemon, Zandofar and Dutchy.

Many vampires awaken far stronger *any vampires under 2,000 BP is moved to 2,000 BP, while those over gain 1,000 BP*

May
Mina makes RavenBlack City Slave Auction, which quickly becomes very popular.

Clan Archangel becomes the largest clan ever to exist in the game, their total membership reaching well over 400 and nearly 500.

Blackhaven begins attacks on EvilBill.

RavenBlack raises the Hall of Severance. Soon after, the Hall of Binding is also raised.

Flowers and diamond rings are now offered in shops across the city.

Dark Mooncalf, formerly Mooncalf, joins Clan of the Dark Raven which disbands shortly thereafter. RavenesQue is consumed by Shadows, locked deep inside of her castle for fear of her former companion Death’s Kiss and his compatriots.

Sedya enters the city.

The Allurists Guild begins offering Charisma.

Clan of the Rose officially disbanded

Garlic Spray is introduced as another weapon along with the Scroll of Displacement.

Vampire Hunters begin to show up in RavenBlack city. They fight with crossbows and inflict massive damage to any vampires who they come across.

Sedya is promoted to second in command of League of the Shadow Demons.

Nemesis severs from her Sire, Gothic-Rose, who had left the City for Eternal Shadows months earlier

The RavenBlack City Hall is established by Cerridwen *This is a Yahoo Group*

Lucius steals the keys to the Halls of Capadocious and gives them to creperum.

Lucius makes the announcement that The Ferrymen are going to break from The Shadow Court and become a separate entity after Nemesis denies him yet another re-entry into the Shadow Court halls.

Bags of coins and other objects begin appearing sporadically throughout the city.

Siren enters Clan ArchAngel

February
Sypheronias lead by Dutchy was form.

The Three Orders of The Ferrymen are created: The Scythe, The Oar and the Cloak. Now an entity unto themselves.

Clan Archangel's current leader, evilchicken, steps down and allows Archangel's return to the Clan as Liege. One of Archangel's first acts is to bring Mooncalf into the Clan and promote him to high rank, which causes a large number of the Clan Archangel to leave and form a resistance group.

EvilBill announces that The Church of Blood will no longer interact with others in the city as they have in the past, but instead will exist inside their own clan.

NiFlhEiM is apointed as an additional leader of Virtus Sodalitas.

BloodSpawn attacks torch. The Sun Clan holds a "The Vampire Olympics". The Winner of the Olypmics was Selethra.

February 17 2005, yankees suck was recruiting for this secret group (Seraphim)

ophelia and Lucius divorce; Lucius beats ophelia to the Hall of Severance due to the fact she would not bow to his demands regarding her leadership of the Shadow Court.

Lucius leaves for “The Dreaming” and is Dead and Buried.

March 10th, 2005; Seraphim was official

The Vampire underground club "The Lounge" is established by Boseraphim.

Lord Vaelen Gallimour resigns from his position within the Kingdom of Heorot.

Capadocious starts to sell life insurance to vampries.

The Clan Seraphim formed, with Avigon at the head as Regent.

April 2nd, 2005; Perception

Tejas Dragon becomes empress of the Wolf Clan.

Clan Seraphim becomes allied with Clan Cerberus.

The S-12 and Cerberus form an mutual protection pact.

Clan Beljeferon and Clan Cerberus form an alliance.

The Alliance of Light, a coalition of rejects, begin attacks on clans they believe are evil and “unworthy”.

Kingdom of Heorot quickly puts an end to Alliance of Light members SpiritLioness, Eripmav, xorf and FOEHAMMER.

Scrolls of Succour are now offered in the city shops.

The Allurists Guild begins offering Perception.

Madeye publishes the first edition of The Grimoire.

The Ferrymen zero gargamel.

Capadocious declares war on The Inner Circle for attacks against Capadocious clan member Vanity.

The Sanctuary of Immortal Enlightenment is formed by Hesu.

August 20th; Miranda Dawn and Mord_Pendragon bind as partners.

The Ferrymen withdraw from the City and slip into The Dreaming.

September
September 8th, 2005; gets a 100k start up donation for the Republic of Ravenblack, under the leadership of Seyda.

Scarletwoman (now Scarlet Dawn) enters the city sired by Miranda Dawn

Mord_Pendragon starts the works for a new clan The Temple of The Dark Lords, asking other members in Sanguine Draconis if they would be willing to follow him

October
The first edition of the Ravenblack City Nitty Gritty circulates through Ravenblack City, a small newspaper, presented by the vampiress Jauk, originating out of the DarkRoost Cafe.

Mord_Pengragon leaves clan Sanguine Draconis. Most of the clan’s members leave
with him due to their feelings of the leadership run by Kryshar.

Mord_Pendragon announces his clan The Temple of the Dark Lords and makes his partner bound Miranda Dawn his 2IC. The clan is made up of the Sanguine Draconis members that followed him

RavenBlack, in sheer generosity, gives many in the city 100,000 coins (Those with over 100k may not have gotten coins).

November
November 5th; Nemesis is adopted by longtime friend Heimdag

Vampires around the city attempt to cover up the display by Dark Mooncalf, claiming it to be a publicity stunt for a new movie. Some Humans believe the conspiracy, but others do not. New orders of vampire hunters run by the government are set up. Dark Mooncalf is hunted and killed by a nameless ancient vampire. His head is near enough destroyed and his memories totally wiped, with no hope of them ever returning.

The Ferrymen leave the Dreaming and attack The Church of Blood.
Nearly all The Ferrymen are killed in the War against the Church of Blood, The Inner Circle and The Shadow Court.

Clan Xendom is disbanded.

The Freehold is renamed Palazzo Lucius.

Clan Archangel announce they officially 'own' the Halls of Binding and Severance and whoever did not pay the 'fee' to Clan Archangel will be scrolled from the Hall.

Gruvigirl took what house member wanted to leave Capodocian and a few others to form the Empty Spiral.

Splinters of Dusk - Morningtide is disbanded.

Internal sabotage occurs within the newly formed Temple of The Dark Lords... undone, imortallia, and a few others leave the clan

Lucius, drawn by the beauty of the lovely Damari, leaves The Dreaming and binds to her.

Most of the remaining Temple of the Dark Lords clan members start propaganda against Miranda Dawn. Mord_Pendragon starts to doubt her and her intensions for the newly formed clan.

July 14th, 2006; Grex4d delivers some Viagra to the Ferrymen clan leader Damari, a request made by Nemesis and spookie. His loyalty is questioned as his own clan begins to attack him along with some of the Ferrymen's allies, Clan Capadocious and the House of Heorot. While many vampires begin to surround him, in hopes of discouraging the attackers. Some senior Vampires of the Clan Seraphim decide it would be a good idea to attack the Clan Capadocious, and have information that the allies of the Capadocians would not attack. Their information was faulty, and so Seraphim quickly find themselves at odds with the Capadocians, the House of Heorot and the Ferrymen. Yggdrasil, the Empty Spiral and the Unnamed join Seraphim in this battle for a short period, but pull out when they realize how poorly Seraphim was performing on the field. After fighting for a little over a week, Seraphim was turned into a Clan of ghosts with only a very few living Vampires, so the Clan as a whole decided to surrender to the Capadocians and the alliance with the final outcome to their surrender being that they pay Capadocius 100k, gold for necro as well as an apology.

Jauk announces splitting ownership of the Nitty Gritty with the vampiress Nemesis, creating the infamous 'Good Cop, Bad Cop' duo.

The House of Black-Wolf falls.

Rykoth and Altania leave Clan Seraphim.

The Shadow Court closes their doors and are no longer anymore (The Clan official closes down).

August 11th, 2006; GOS Achilles throws Garlic Spray first at the Palazzo Lucius hitting Sartori of The Ferrymen, Rodargo, Arbiter of The Ferrymen, Cerridwen, Ihenki of SIE before walking to the SIE Compound to hit Damari and Lucius.
