Vampire Types
There are five types of vampires in this city, Warriors, Blood Holders, Resters, Non-Resters, and True Babes. They each act slightly differently, and may or may not be respected for their beliefs. Keep in mind that Warriors, Blood Holders and True Babes, can be Resters or Non-Resters at the same time.
Warriors are vampires who fight within this city, their blood tends to drop and raise and never seems to stay at a stable level. They take pride in their battles, and more so when they get a kill (a vampire who has 10 or less blood points)
Warriors tend to be allied with clans or be in clans themselves, taken part in killing large number of vampires. They know how this city works and know that sometimes the only way to prove they are stronger then those around them is to fight them.
Warriors tend to lack the care of their blood, understanding that it can come and go and even be bought back if they require it. They tend to stay above the line so they can still fight and even take a hit if need be.
Warriors can come in as Resters and Non-Resters depending on who raised the vampire, or their clan.
Blood Holders
Blood Holders tend to be worried about their blood, fearing perhaps torpor. (These vampires tend to have 40000+ blood points and are Blood Deities) They tend to hide in the shadows when things get rough, out of fear of loosing that blood. They do not seem to want to move, only moving when they have more then enough people on their side and once again going back into the shadows when things start to look bad for them.
This is not always the case with Blood Holders, some Blood Holders are aligned neutral or perhaps simply do not see the reason in fighting. In either case they hold a lot of blood within them, and many warriors look down on them.
It is rare for a Blood Holder to be a non-rester however it has and can happen.
Resters
Vampires who have gone into Torpor tend to rest for two weeks (sometimes longer depending on things) where they spend that time growing stronger (moving their vampires so they can reach 250 blood points). Resters do not attack other vampires at this time, and do not tend to be attack in return. This is not always the case if the Rester happens to be a mouthy spirit.
Some vampires may still run their mouths, or simply stand down from their battles when zeroed, in respect to those who are indeed Resters. These vampires can be seen as Resters and Non-Resters at the same time.
Non-Resters[/u]
Non-Resters are vampires that even when sent into Torpor do not rest at all for that two weeks. Once able to attack again they will do so. They may not even have respect for those who are resisters and may even keep attacking those very vampires.
There is a whole clan who are non-resters known as the Splinters of Dusk (Splinters or SoDfor short) sometimes their children are non-resters who respect those who do rest, and hence will stand down in that time of being zeroed.
Non-Resters do not believe vampires die, or are sent into Torpor and believe it to be rather non-sense in most cases. As vampires are immortal creatures they should have no reason to be forced into rest.
True Babes[/u]
True Babes are vampires who are neither warriors or blood holders, fact be told they may not even care about these things. (In other words they may have a couple of powers, and a few blood points and have been in the game for a couple years even but do nothing) They do not fight, but tend to run their mouths, they do not gain strength or power, but tend to run their mouths.
True Babes tend to seen as insults towards the vampire race and are more or less the laughing stalk of the city. Believing that they are powerful and strong, when in many cases they can not even lift a holy water let alone a scroll of turning on those who may harm them or their love ones. But they not care, they still believe themselves to be strong and in some cases even gods.[/ul]
Vampire Alignment
Vampire Alignment also comes into play when you talk about vampire types, there tend to be a main focus on either Evil Aligned, Good Aligned, Neutral Aligned, and Neither Aligned.
Many people will say all vampires are evil, they must be seeing as they must steal and drink blood, to truly make it in this city. However there are vampires who do not do such things. Most Evil Aligned vampires, tend to fight, when they fight they do not even care who they may be fighting against.
They may have such things as Wheel of Freaks (A Church of Blood feature where they pick a random vampire and zero them.) Or simply just zero anyone who may give them an insult, look at them wrong, or flirt with their lover.
Evil aligned vampires, tend to only care about themselves, may even be truly sweet and wonderful to people’s face (the type of vampire everyone wants to be friends with) but when it comes down to it, they do not trust anyone, and will stab anyone in the back. Not all evil vampires fall into this place, however many do.
Good Aligned[/u]
Good aligned vampires, tend to only fight evil vampires, they refuse to side with the evil clans or evil aligned clans. The most evil they may do is steal from other vampires and bite them. (besides when they are fighting evil) They care about the weaker vampires and doing what is right.
They are not to be messed with as they will indeed fight back. Most vampires find they are unable to live up to this path and tend to fall into the Evil Aligned background or perhaps Neither Aligned.
Neutral Aligned
A true Neutral vampire will NEVER raise their hand against you, no matter how many times you may raise your hand against them. If they are place under attack and are not wearing the Pink Badge or Cloak (Are not Neutral) They very well may simply take a scroll and displace you. The Sun Clan (which is the largest neutral clan around) are one of the many clans who make this into a game for their vampires. Neutral Aligned vampires much like the Sun Clan tend to have a large deal of information, and are not simply hiding behind such things. They tend to be very peaceful indeed.
If a vampire is indeed wearing the Pink Badge or Cloak and are insulting and running their mouths, chances are they are doing nothing more then hiding behind such things out of fear of loosing their blood (meaning they are blood holders) and are not truly Neutral Aligned Vampires.
Neither Aligned
Neither Aligned vampires tend to be vampires who are not good nor evil, they many very well be one of those two things but refuse to call themselves, neither are they neutral. They will fight whoever attacks them but rarely are the ones who start such things. (Even if they are within the clan, they tend to not be the first in their clan to raise their hand against another.)
Neither Aligned vampires, do tend to join in fights to protect their clan or family. Yet tend to fear causing trouble themselves, and hence if attack will rarely report such things. Neither Aligned Vampires walk the line between all other aligned vampires, as they perhaps are unsure just where they stand. But know that they it’s either a kill or be killed placement. (Some Neither Vampires may or may have worn the Battle Cloak at some time.)[/ul]
